Last night we took a tour of the town. We finished at St Andrews Park to invest our new Beavers; Adam and Charlie.

Beavers’ First Aid
Thank you to Mark for sharing his first aid expertise with the Beavers. They were able to practice placing an unconscious person in the recovery position. They also dressed and bandaged either an arm or leg. Great fun had by all.
Beavers’ Lunar Landing 8th November 2018
The Beavers designed then built their own vehicle for exploring an alternative planet.
You can see some of their fantastic imaginative designs below.
Foal Hurst Wood
Wendigo Beavers’ recent visit to Foal Hurst Wood resulted in some imaginative nature pictures.
Beavers’ Pirate Camp 2018
We had the most amazing weather, hot and dry and camped at the 10th Weald Scout Group from 29th June to 1st July 2018.
Camp started with our usual collection of home made cakes for our regular “cake breaks”. This one, made by Holly and Rhiannon was rather impressive and even surprised us all when we cut our first slice. Take a look below.
We had a fun filled weekend playing volleyball on site, cricket on the nearby cricket ground and completing many pirate crafts including a tie dye bandana, eye patch, cutlass, a treasure chest and creating an ancient treasure map.
We had a super camp fire on Saturday evening where everyone took part in different songs. Some of our young people also stood up and sang their pirate songs that they had been learning at school.
While at camp it was a pleasure to present our young leader Josh (shown above) his 100th nights away badge around the camp fire. What an impressive milestone to reach. Well done Josh on your achievement.
We had two teams; The Skulls, shown with their ship shack
and The Crossbones with theirs.
We look forward to our next night’s away adventure.
Chapa and team.
